Jason is a highly accomplished industry leader with over 25 years of experience in the US payer and biopharmaceutical industries. He is currently a Partner at VS Health Group responsible for collaborating with biopharmaceutical manufacturers to achieve optimal market access across the US payer landscape by providing actionable payer insights and deep industry expertise.

Prior to joining VS Health Group, Jason held various senior-level positions, including Vice President of Rebate Contracting and Strategy for Ascent Health Services. In this position, Jason was responsible for rebate contract negotiations on behalf of Express Scripts, Cigna, Prime Therapeutics, and its other contracted Participants.

Jason also served as Vice President of Formulary Development for Express Scripts from the Bloomington, Minnesota office. In this role, Jason served as the chairperson for the final formulary committee responsible for making all formulary access decisions for pharmacy benefit drugs for the Express Scripts and Cigna national formularies. In addition, Jason’s team was responsible for utilization management strategy for all national formulary customers. Jason was also responsible for the team that fulfilled formulary rebate modeling for all custom health plan clients.

For the prior eight years, Jason served as the Vice President of Clinical Account Management at Express Scripts and was responsible for all customer facing pharmacists. The team was responsible for providing clinical program, formulary, and benefit design recommendations for all self-funded employers and their benefit consultants. In this role Jason also served as the executive sponsor for several large employers.
